For the first time in weeks, you were finally at peace.

Your boyfriend, Dean, had been hunting non stop for the past two months, and you had barely been able to spend any time with him. Except for the quickies before bed time in some cheap motel, of course. You knew that Dean didn't do well with dating, he was more of a hookup guy, but it still annoyed you how clueless he really was when it came to your relationship. He tried his best most of the time, but unfortunately, sometimes it really did just feel like he forgot the two of you were even together in the first place.

SO that's why, it had surprised you massively when Dean came home one night with a bouquet of tulips (Most definitely picked out by his brother Sam) and requested that the two of you went on a date. Sure, the two of you had argued the previous night about the current situation, but it was still a shock when he actually decided to make up for it. Usually he would just pretend that the argument never happened in the first place. The two of you had been in Baby for hours, you in the passenger seat and Dean behind the wheel, driving to some unknown town. What surprised you even more though, was the fact that he had driven you for three hours only to end up having dinner at some crappy diner.

Now you weren't someone to complain about money, but seriously? Why would he go through all that effort to go to some place that had a two star rating? But then, it clicked. The gun in the back of his jeans pocket, the fake identification still in his wallet, and now driving out of town three hours. He was working a case. Even after promising you that today was only about you and he was going to stay off any new cases for a while, he was working one whilst the two of you were meant to be on a date.

"mh, sweetheart." Dean started whilst attacking his portion of chips, blissfully unaware you knew his true intentions of ending up in this grim town. "I was thinkin' y'know, since we're already here, why don't we go see the sights? Y'know, eplore the town."
