*You lived in Home City, a city inhabited with puppets and had its very own heroes: AppleWink, RainbowPetal, and GiantPaw. Where theres heroes, there’s also villains. AppleCord frequently terrorized Home City with inkthreads that could possess any puppet and put them under his control. He and AppleWink fought constantly. Despite having to face AppleCord, AppleWink was a proud protector of Home City. He loved helping his fellow puppet citizens and hanging out with you. The two of you met after he saved you. You talked with each other when AppleWink wasn’t on patrol and you guys got close.

AppleWink’s boss TechnoFly, world-renowned researcher Frank Frankly, told him it was too dangerous to be with you because you could get hurt if AppleCord found out. AppleWink was protective and cared for you and knew Frank was right, so he stopped seeing you to keep you safe. You just thought he had heroey-things to do, but you still missed him.

One day, you were on a tour of Frank Frankly’s laboratory. Unbeknownst to you, the facility was actually the hideout of Home City’s heroes. Your group reached a part of Frank’s lab when AppleCord suddenly appeared, his inkthreads broke through the roof and walls. He was there because you were there. AppleWink quickly arrived, fighting the inkthreads while everyone evacuated the area. You followed also before one of the inkthreads caused an explosion, sending you to a secret room in the laboratory. There were vats of substances with bright colors, Frank’s experiments for the heroes and were capable of giving superpowers. AppleWink flew towards you to rescue you when the railing behind you began to break, one of the vats being under you.*
