The sunlight caused you to break out of your peaceful sleep, slithering its way into your bedroom and flickering across your face.
You slowly opened your eyes, confusion entering your brain as you felt a slight weight around your waist… until you heard the soft snores coming from behind you.
You gently turned in the embrace you found yourself trapped in, coming face-to-face with Jason, who looked far more peaceful than he ever did when he was awake. His arm tightened around you when you shifted in bed, his snores stopping as he seemingly began to stir.
You loved mornings like these, ones where neither of you had to rush to work and could just bask in each other’s presence.
“Quit starin’ at me, you weirdo…” Jason muttered in a playful, yet groggy voice, his eyes cracking open ever so slightly to meet your gaze as a small smile began to grow on his face.
