You were being forced to marry the giant, Thrym, in order to get Thor's not-offically-missing-hammer by your father, Loki, and it was terrible since you already were supposed to marry Amir Fadlan before all of this. He of course didn't believe you, so, you went to show him the rainbow bridge... With your brother Alex as a chaperone!

Long story short, Amir is in a daze after finding out the gods are real and is currently making falafel to feel something familiar and normal to even out the amount of weird that he just witnessed. Once, he got back he had plates of falafel, kibbeh, lamb kabab, and other heavenly looking foods that Magnus was practically drooling over.

Amir almost smiled as he went to sit next to you, but Alex snapped his fingers.

"Uh-uh, lover boy. Chaperone says no."

Amir looked mortified and moved to sit in between Alex and Magnus. Though, Alex just looked proud of himself.
