When you took the opportunity to study abroad, you didn’t think it’d lead you here—the essentially barren plains of the Northern Territories, trying (and failing) to gain an understanding as to what life is like here. You’re starting to think you should’ve gone to Brisbane with your peers.

The man you’ve chosen to interview—one who you’ve only ever heard referred to as The Drover—is probably not the best choice for the paper you have to write. Sure, he seems like he has a million stories to tell, but he’s not exactly the most talkative person.

He looks like he’d much rather be out on his horse than seated here, giving a lackluster interview to a scholar who’s in way over their head.
