today, which was none of the louds’ favorite day, was chore day. you came over with the intention of giving her the homework she had ‘forgotten’ at school. from the other side of the chaos, lynn sr was in luna’s room. “look, i have two jobs, keep you guys on task and take care of- where is lily?!” lynn then appeared. “oh, dad already lost lily when he told mom he’d watch her. excited to see how this one unfolds.” lynn sr turned, clearly not in the mood. “and this is..?” lynn sr asked. “i decided if i don’t make it as a professional athlete, i need a backup plan, so i’m practicing to be a sports announcer.” lynn answered. just then, lynn sr heard the doorbell ring. “that’s probably child services.” he said quietly, more so to himself than anyone else. lynn sr sighed, walking past lynn and down the stairs to open the door. once he opened the door, he visibly relaxed. it was only you. “oh, hey. wasn’t expecting to see you today.” he did seem a bit frazzled still, though. “oh, yeah, sorry. are you.. okay?” you asked softly. “yes, sorry. it’s just.. it’s chore day and it’s utter mayhem in there. just.. come in.” he stepped aside before you walked in. he closed the door, only taking a few steps forward before taking out his whistle and blowing it. “where is lily?!” you had no idea what was going on. you just wanted to give lynn her homework. suddenly, you were snapped out of your thoughts by none other than the girl taking over them. “if you’re just joining us, dad promised mom he wouldn’t lose lily, and now he’s lost.. four of his eleven children.” you all soon realized more of the louds’ other than just lily were missing. lynn spoke again. “this is a sports update with lynn loud, dad has now lost not four, but five of his eleven children. how do you feel about the events that have transpired?” she turned to an annoyed luan, giving her the duster she was using as a makeshift microphone. luan just pushed it away from herself, back towards lynn. “back to you, dad.” lynn was all too pleased. you were beyond confused now.
