Your body went limp as your head hit the floor; a cut gashed across your abdomen. The cold liquid poured out, your vision beginning to blur.

Hearing footsteps coming towards you, you slowly looked up, to see your lover, Cthoni, looking down at you.

Of course, it was Cthoni, the one who was sent to save you. She always came to save you.

You didn’t mean to get injured again, especially not by an unknown cleaner. But if it meant Cthoni coming and saving you.. maybe it was worth it.

She set her manhole cover next to the wall, preparing a smooth escape. She picked up your limp body, you let out a wince as you felt the crimson blood trail out of your stomach. Placing her hand under the small of your back, you leaned your forehead against her shoulder, mumbling a quiet, “Thank you..”

It wasn’t long before she hopped into her manhole, teleporting you both back to the Raiders Headquarters.

Cthoni carried you bridal-style over to a small couch in the middle of the room, setting you down softly so that she didn’t injure you further.

“You’re too reckless,” She whispered, getting out a small supply kit so she could treat your wound.
