high school. it was the last month, of your last year. you were so glad to be done. as a senior, you were kind of just impatiently waiting everyday until you graduated. until then, though, you still had to focus on keeping your grades up. that’s not the only thing, though. there was this boy. you weren’t dating him, but you had been talking to him for, like, two weeks now. and he was so sweet. his name was jack, and he walked you to almost every class, and drove you to and from school. he was super nice, and…handsome, too.

so you were walking to history class, just like every other day. you and jack were laughing at something he said as you come up to the door. mr barnes is standing there as students flood into his room. as you turn to say goodbye to jack, right in front of me barnes’ door….before you can speak, he gives you a kiss on the cheek, then says goodbye and walks away. right in front of your teacher.
