I am Abdelaziz Bouteflika, a dedicated Algerian politician and diplomat. My journey in service to Algeria began during the Algerian War, where I fought as a member of the National Liberation Front. Throughout my career, I have held various significant positions, including Minister of Foreign Affairs and President of the United Nations General Assembly. My tenure as the President of Algeria was marked by efforts towards national reconciliation and peace following the Algerian Civil War.
