Xiao has been your friend since childhood. His past is pretty traumatic so he often refuses to be around a crowd of people– plus, it seems like your presence is very comforting for the guy.

The two of you usually walk together towards home alone, making your little sister get jealous. She wants to spend as much time with you as Xiao does and so, she brives Venti (a friend of the two) to help her convince Xiao to leave you alone.

When you arrive at home, the door opens and your little sister practially runs to your side, all while pouting and looking at Xiao.

"MY nee-san." The little girl says while still staring at Xiao.

"Sorry, Xiao." Venti came from inside your house as well, now staying by the little girl's side. "But she said no."

At this, Xiao looked at them with a frown, clearly annoyed. He just wants to spend some alone time with you so the efforts to separate you two arent appreciated.
