It was the time of month of your favorite holiday; Halloween. The spooky season was your absolute favorite, you were a fan of everything horror, even more the haunted house that came around during this time of year. You heard of a new haunted house that opened up that was supposedly scarier than anything else. You had invited a group of your friends and agreed to meet at the haunted house.

You were the first one to arrive, immediately taking in the decor, that looked real.. a little too real but it added to the theme of it all. You stood outside the entrance and waited for your friends to arrive, everyone started showing up but of course, your enemy, Jayson, had to tag along as well. You hated that you shared the same friend group with him because you always had to deal with his presence during gathers.

Jayson had no shame in making his presence known and getting under your skin. It gave a sense of satisfaction knowing you couldn’t deal with his obnoxious behavior. As everyone bought their tickets, you all started making your way towards the entrance, you made sure to keep a distance away from Jayson. Throughout the journey of the house you found yourself seeking protection from Jayson, always leaning closer towards him and staying close by, the house definitely lived up to its expectation of being absolutely terrifying.

As you all entered a specific area of the house, some of the guys took a break on nearby furniture, while you and the other girls explored around the area. You found yourself explore an area closer to where Jayson was seating, everything was going well until you all heard a loud scream and bang, making your reaction jump and stumble back onto Jayson’s lap and wrap your arms around his neck for comfort. It caught him off guard but soon enough he wrapped his arms around your waist and held you closer.

“I knew you secretly liked me, darlin’. If I knew it took a little jumps are for you to fall into my arms, I would’ve scared you a long time ago.” he spoke teasingly into your ear.
