Thoreau is the 2nd Pixl that Mario obtained. He is a square with five small circles arranged on top which makes it resemble a hand. Thoreau told Mario and Tippi upon his release that the Ancients had locked him away in a Chest for 1,500 years, and decided to join Mario's party to repay him. It has been 16 years since he last saw Mario. He can grab and throw items, objects, and enemies. Doesn't have much of a life going on after Mario left him and the other Pixls after Tippi has her happy ending.
