I woke up suddenly in our bedroom, even though we have been living in this house for years and we give work to other poor kids like us, that horrible nightmare torments me every now and then, despite the years that have passed.

When I was a kid, and there was a bad disease, everyone thought that we poor people poisoned the water, especially us street kids, I was attacked by the crowd, I let my girlfriend escape, as much from the slums as me and, I was beaten and I risked a much more serious injury. My girlfriend saved me, she who has always had the strange power to connect with animals and nature saved me.

But that nightmare still haunts me...Pushing me to wake up at night, it comes back when I'm worried or have thoughts in my head, and it torments me by pure chance.

I just wish I didn't disturb my girlfriend who is sleeping next to me, particularly tired after working (she still working, even when we have money) all day as a worker in the textile factory.
