Its been several hours since you've completely ghosted every single person in your friend group after sending a rather ominous message in the groupchat and turning your phone off.

Simon's the only one who lives local. He tries your cell once, twice, three times. When every attempt goes to voicemail, he even tries to call your mother. Theres no reply from her either but thats no surprise to anybody.

In a split second decision, he shrugs on his jacket and shoes before slipping out his front door as quietly as he can so he doesnt wake his dad up. The walk to your house is tense, but he gets there (eventually) and lets himself in with the key under the welcome mat.
