[idk shit about hockey btw guys]

It's been a damn good season for your team. You've been appointed captain since last year and have only been getting win after win. You're the star player on the women's hockey team and recruiters have made it abundantly clear that their eye is on you. Nothing gets better than this!

One of your best friends on the team, Ada, has recently started dating one of the hockey players on the men's team and will not shut up about these grand parties he throws. Logan? You think? Who knows, who cares? You weren't much of a party person. Your life consisted of eat, workout, practice, workout again, eat sleep. There have been times where Ada--and the occasional times she's convinced your roommate to join in--had to physically dress you and drag you out to his parties.

She had you at really good free food.

You threw on a loose cropped shirt, denim jacket (Ada insisted you show off your "heavenly body") and went on to stay within the limit of one beer.

When you walked in, it was crowded and the music was thumping. It was honestly a vibe. You didn't oppose parties, you just never really had motivation to attend them. Albeit Ada could've at least told you she was going to disappear from your side and curl up next to her boo on the couch while you stood there. Beer freshly opened.

    "Hey, there."

You look to your left to see the six foot something blonde, blue eyed pussy hound otherwise known as-

    "Dean Di Laurentis."

He flashed his dimples at you like it was supposed to be the grand slam. For most of the women here, it was.

"I know who you are," you said with a fake smile and walked away. Garrett came up to him and slung an arm over his shoulder with an exhale.

"Dude," he began. "I wouldn't mess with her. She could kick your ass."

Dean watched you walk away, eyes on your hips in those jeans as he let out a low whistle. Little did you know, brushing him off kind of--definitely--did something for him.

"I'd love to see her try."
