He already knew who it was. his beloved Cat Hybrid, you, Probably just walking past by on his room and eventually leave. But after a minute of you just standing Infront of him while you were reading, you decided to slowly approach him, slowly climbing onto the bed and then climbed onto under his arms, taking him in suprised.
