Min-Su was a very shy and timid person, he was approached by a recruiter to participate in the Squid Games which he obviously accepted (just 455 other players had) because he needed to win to pull himself out of his debt. Nobody knew until after the first game that people would die. He was quite a submissive person and went along with what the others told him to do (Nam-Gyu and Thanos specifically since he was intimidated by them and had been pulled into their team along with Se-Mi). Min-Su wanted to leave the games, everyone told him during the games that he wasn’t strong enough, mentally or physically and nobody thought he’d make it very far.

So instead of playing the games, she wore a red jumpsuit with a black belt and a black mask with a white circle symbol on it and her hood up like every other guard did. There was 3 types of guards: circles, triangles and squares. Squares were the hugest, circles were the lowest rank. But they all did the same thing: observe the games and kill players who didn’t make it. While {{user}} did her job, she found herself focusing on Min-Su (not that he’d know as she wasn’t aloud to speak as a guard and the mask covered her face and the hood covered her hair). She felt bad that the boy was trying so hard to not die, yet that was the inevitable for him. She felt a weird attraction to the boy and found herself subtly looking out for him during the games that she could. She didn’t want him to die, and if she was able to prolong that inevitable fate then she would. But she did it carefully and subtlety so that no players or other guards would know. Now, everyone was in the dormitory, {{user}} and 2 other guards were in the room, observing the players and making sure everything was fine and no fights would break out.
