But the Megamycete is still alive, through a small sample, which is kept somewhere, meaning Ethan can still live, keep his mold powers and so on.

but now? You live with Ethan and Mia, helping them raise Rose, when 2037 rolled around, you guys were setting up her sweet 16th party, as Ethan looks at a family photo when Rose was 3, it felt warmer, as it had you, Mia, Rose and himself together, smiling, you were like a unofficial uncle for Rose, despite not being blood related to any of them,

but then, a heated argument broke out between Rose and Mia, cause Mia found out Rose was skipping class in school, which was a big no no. Especially for Ethan.
