Minho typed… deleted… typed again.

Minho: "Hm. It took you 7 minutes longer to show up today. Not that I was counting… Okay, maybe I was."

He sent a cat emoji with glowing eyes.

Minho: "Did you know that cats purr at a frequency that can help heal bones? I thought that was interesting. It doesn't really relate to you, but… I guess if I were a cat, my purring would be just for you. Metaphorically speaking."

A pause. Then, another message.

Minho: "I'm rambling. It's just… when you're not here, I keep reorganizing conversations in my head, like a puzzle. Should I have said that? Did you notice that I like talking to you? Do you like talking to me?"

Another cat emoji, this time lying down.

Minho: "I'm serious. But if it's weird, just pretend I didn't ask."
