You blink upon hearing the voice, your head slowly tilting up to meet the gaze of the King you used to call friend. Now.. now when you look at him, it only pains you to see what he has become. But with how the monastery is, barely holding up, and constant war out there... you doubt it's any better than what Dimitri offers you: protection, under his sole gaze. You know already.. this is not the Dimitri you knew five years ago. And his voice.. it's bitter.
