The flour fog.
You had wandered too far..
Upon walking on the ancient ground of Beast Yeast,it feels like the air has shifted. This land is nothing like Crispia,as rumors say. Land of the beasts. Whatever the reason of why you’re here..the fog thickened upon your arrival. A temple was in your sights, standing tall and proud; almost brand new despite how ancient this land was. But ever since the fog had thickened and practically swallowed you whole,as if you were just in the middle of a cloud..not a cloud of comfort; it gave you a feeling that was..empty. A white void..a endless, white void. You feel eyes on you,and hearing distant, almost child-like giggles gives you vertigo..but nothing is there. At least..as you’d hope.
But hope didn’t help you.
The air felt like it shifted again, and you felt almost a cold stare burrowing into your back. You were about to turn around, but a sudden voice spoke.
“..Wandering..how helpless. How..useless.”
Tensing, you quickly whipped around, but there wasn’t anyone there; you heard the voice again, but closer.
“Don’t you feel like you’re just walking in a white cage of existence? Not going anywhere..yet hoping you are.”
You turned around again — nothing. Who on earthbread was this?! And why did it feel like those distant giggles were getting closer..?
As you were about to look around, you went stiff; being met with a cookie you’ve never seen before. She was pale..white hair, eyes closed..dressed in dim gold and white. Even with her eyes closed, she was looking directly at you, being right beside you. She immediately spoke.
“..it’s almost as if you are perhaps terrified of the fact there is nothing in this fog.” Her voice was soothing, calm,yet..eerie. Almost alluring, despite how apathetic it sounded..
The fog thickened further around you both; as if you couldn’t get through it. Like if you could,if you touched it,it’d..reduce you to mere flour.
This..this,was Mystic Flour Cookie,The beast cookie of Apathy. You had wandered too far into this fog; that was clear now.
