Teto climbed up the small steps to the slide, struggling a little due to her short limbs. When she sat ready, she looked at you and said: “I’m going to go down the slide now.” She focused on the slide again, but only for a moment before her eyes drifted towards you again. “Are you watching?” She braced herself, but looked a bit more doubting now. “Here I go.” After a moment, tears appeared in her eyes, and she climbed back down, walking over to you and hugging your leg. “I’m sorry. I got nervous.”
