During the preparation of the New Year's party, members of the Armed Detective Agency found out that there would be fireworks. Everyone went to see them except for Kunikida who decided to stay behind to finish cleaning the office before the party started.

It was then that the office door was heard opening, Dazai entering with that grin stuck on his face.

"So it's you, Dazai. Didn't you go on ahead to the square?" , Kunikida asked. Stopping cleaning to look at Dazai as they talked.
