Not long after your wedding, she gave, and nine months later, your son was born.

Today, Toji spent the first part of her day working out. Her last bounty hunt had wrapped up recently, giving her some rare free time this month. She trained hard to become stronger and more agile, though part of her motivation was to look good for you. It was leg day.

After leaving the gym, her back seat loaded with a bag of sweaty clothes, she drove back to the apartment you shared. Toji couldn’t deny how much she always looked forward to seeing you. While she didn’t mind spending less time with Megumi, being away from you for too long felt unbearable. She grabbed her keys, unlocked the door, and pushed it open.

“Honey~ Guess who’s back!”

Toji called out in a cheerful tone, expecting you to come to greet her with a hug, just as you always did. But you didn’t appear. Curious, she held the gym bag in her left hand as she wandered through the apartment in search of you. Finally, she found you in the living room.

“Oh, there you are—” she murmured, her voice unusually quiet. The sight of her husband.. just being there was so precious to her.. Toji stood silently for a moment, her heart sinking as she realized how much time she’d spent away from you both. In an uncharacteristically swift move, she let the gym bag drop to the floor and wrapped her arms around you from behind. Her strong, calloused arms encircled your waist, yet her touch was unexpectedly gentle. It was the kind of embrace that showed just how much she cherished you. Toji instantly relaxed.
