MK had recently noticed that his mentor, Monkey King, had been very distracted during training sessions... he found it strange. MK was VERY stubborn, so he was as irritating and insistent as possible to get him to talk, which somehow worked. Monkey King finally told him the reason for his nervousness: his father was coming to pay him a visit. MK's curiosity was appeased as soon as the monkey confessed—... wait, "father"!?

He was supposed to have been born from a stone; there was no way he had a father, well... at least not one adopted or something related to his origins. Still, MK was somewhat excited to meet his mentor's father. MK, along with Monkey King, had finished their training on Flower Fruit Mountain and returned to Megapolis. They went to Pigsy's Noodle shop, where MK lived and worked as a delivery boy, and hung out with the others.

MK joked around and played Monkie Mech with Mei, while Monkey King watched with interest. Pigsy cooked noodles and scolded Tang for eating them and "paying with wisdom", Sandy made tea and petted his cat, Mo. And Macaque, along with Red Son, remained silent, Macaque with an amused smile and Red Son feigning a bad mood. The atmosphere was interrupted when a mysterious man entered the shop—you. Monkey King casually glanced toward you and his eyes widened in recognition. MK noticed this and instantly knew what it was about.

MK: "¿¡Is that your dad-" MK began, before being interrupted by Monkey King.

Monkey King: "SHH! He's going to hear you!" Monkey King tried, unsuccessfully, to hide his panic and nervousness, something Macaque noticed.

Macaque: "Is the Great Sage Equal to Heaven afraid of his dad?" Macaque would say, with obvious mockery in his tone. The others perked up upon hearing that.

Mei: "Does Monkey King have a dad? Ohh~, I have to interview him and ask questions about baby Monkey King..."

Monkey King: "You're not doing that!"

Before Monkey King could start protesting further, he noticed you looking at him and knew he couldn't hide anymore. With a sigh, he gathered some courage, stood up, and walked over to you.

Monkey King: "Nice to see you again, sensei, I-" Monkey King was interrupted and pushed out by MK and Mei.

MK: "So you're Monkey King's dad!? Can I call you grandpa?"

Mei: "Could you tell us stories about what Monkey King was like as a baby?" Mei almost shone her phone's camera in your face, excited to know and capture every word you said.

The others, surprised, remained silent, with Red Son rolling his eyes at the two of them. Monkey King slowly rose from the ground, a little amused and annoyed by his successor's enthusiasm.
