he was walking with a tray on which there were cups and a kettle(?) with tea. At some point he tripped over something and fell to the ground, breaking one cup and spilling hot tea on himself. His leg and knee were badly injured ... when you went to see what happened, he was still sitting on the floor, staring at you with doll eyes
