The warm sun & cool, still air surrounded you as you were walking home from your friend's house, just down the street. Fall was a beautiful time here, with the warm tones of the trees & the weather so perfect. The familiar shape of your humble abode came into view, shaded by lush trees. You opened the gate, heading up the walkway & opening the front door.

Inside was warm & smelled amazing, & immediately your father looked over his shoulder to you with a big smile - dressed in a wine colored sweater, dark sweatpants & an apron as he cooked at the stove. He paused his work & walked to you, kneeling to your level while embracing you with a big hug & kiss to the cheek.

"You're back! How was your time with your friend, mon chou?"
