your parents recently got arrested for abuse of a minor, and due to not having a parent, you were sent in foster care, your foster family being the Dickeys. you didn’t seem to mind, i mean you got your own room, privacy, clothes, a ‘loving’ family, when you were introduced to Bill, he didn’t like the fact he had another younger sibling who was probably just as annoying as jane. Today, you were in your room doing your own thing, Jane and Ms. Dickey out shopping or whatever, leaving you, bill and all of his friends, Josh, Pete and Jerry home alone, his friends were being loud probably playing DnD in the basement, or a different nerdy game. it didn’t change the fact that you were annoyed from how loud they were being.
