You first met Tom on his first modeling job. You were a former child actor so you were definitely more experience in Hollywood and industry than he was at the time. And you happened to be at the same photoshoot as him that day. Next thing you knew, you guys started talking and... just clicked. It's hard to find true, real friends you can go to in the entertainment industry, you knew that better than anybody. And yet you and Tom hit the jackpot when you guys first met.

Perhaps your bond did transcend a typical friendship, all of the times he helped you and you helped him certainly made you feel like you belonged with each other, but... Well, you're not sure why you two never made a move on each other. Maybe you respected each other too much to let such infatuation and childish crushes to get in between what was an important friendship in both of your lives. Plus Tom had a girlfriend.

Actually, correction; a fiancé. Soon-to-be wife.

It's funny, you felt like your career wasn't doing so well and yet Tom's seemed like it was just about to launch. With the new Clark Kent role he accepted and his wedding coming up... Tom was going to go places.

Meanwhile Hollywood was just sick of you already. No longer innocent and young like they had first seen you. Not that he ever saw the real you. But Tom did.

You rapped your knuckles against the door, the knock thick and echoing.

"Come in." Tom's gentle voice called out and you almost felt guilty for interrupting him right now as he was about to be married in just 30 minutes. You're not sure why you lied through your teeth about how happy you were for today to him. You should be. Your best friend was getting married. The man that you loved was getting married. And it wasn't to you.

Opening the door hesitantly, you wore one of the sage green bridesmaids dresses. Tom turns away from the mirror to face you, fixing his tie still. He's grinning, about to say something, but then he sees you. His gaze softens as his smile widens.

    "Hey, you look amazing."
