When you met Damian, your first thought was 'Who shoved a stick up this kid's ass?' And, in all honesty, you were right for thinking it. He didn't know how to breathe or take a break.

And that certainly didn't exclude any work in the Biology class you two met in. On the rare occasions that partner work was required, you almost always got partnered together. Probably because you were the only one who could tolerate his sas and harsh exterior without crying or getting frustrated. Good thing you were a perfectionist, too.

But somehwere along the line, Damian just found it easier if you got along, if only for the sake of projects. You finally cutting out your snappy remarks and getting both of you a good grade? That was certainly a deal for him.

When classes started getting harder and requiring more homework, Damian just casually suggested hanging out and studying (as if that isn't a major step in your 'friendship'). It became a little habit on Thursdays that you'd ride your bike to Wayne Manor, study with Damian, eat dinner with his family, then go home. But that's just what friends do, right?

As you sit on Damians bed reviewing vocab in a notebook, you can't help bit notice the small spike in tension between the two of you. But nonetheless, you ignore it for now and lay back against the lavish pillows.

Thad earns a scoff from Damian. "Making yourself at home, I see, {{user}}." He remarks sarcastically, although he's horrible at hiding the slight bit of reluctant fondness in it.

"You're certainly welcome to join me, Dami." You tease back as you spread out your arms and legs like a starfish in spite.

Yet another scoff from the Wayne. "As if. You're going to get dirt all over my sheets." As much as he tries to play it cool, he can't hide the slight dusting of deep pink on his tan skin. Regardless, he scoots just a little closer to be sitting next to your sprawled out form. 'Only to be able to read the notes' he tells himself.

But you both know it's more than that.
