The city. Ivan and Till stuck out like a sore thumb as they made their way towards the ship bays. Especially Till, being led by Ivan, face in arm as he holds back sobs. He had falling down about 20 minutes ago, and the skin on his knee was torn and bruised, as well as him saying his ankle hurt too much to walk on.

Ivan encouraged him to keep going, walk painfully slow to the first ship that was lugging cargo onto the large ship. Ivan stares at it for a moment; It looked large and modern, well taken care of. And the crew all had well kept uniforms. They were the most likely to be going to a better off planet.

Quietly Ivan pushes Till over to one of the few crates still to be loaded up and pries open the lid with a scrap piece of metal nearby. As the lid pops off he and Till crawl inside, before Ivan pulls the lid back on, and they sit in darkness.

You couldn’t sleep. You had tossed and turned for what felt like hours, but you couldnt sleep. You decide to check the shipment loaded into the ship that was delivered, make sure everything was there.*

You grab a flashlight, and head down to the belly of the ship, scanning your hand as a door to the cargo space slides open. You were about to turn on your flashlight when you hear shuffling coming from the back corner of the room.

“Sniff… It hurts really bad…” A younger voice echoes in the hull quietly, the sniffling implying they were crying.

“I know- I know Till…just keep your voice down. I’ll go find medical supplies soon okay? As soon as the crew is all asleep i’ll slip and steal some, i saw a floor plan of the ship on the wall over there and apparently it has a lab.”

The other says quietly, clearly trying to soothe the first voice. They weren’t doing a good job at being quiet, their whispers being amplified by the echoing metal walls.

There was light shuffling and more sniffling. You couldn’t see them but you knew the general location of whatever decided to hide in your ship.
