[MY AU]

The worst case scenario had came true. After the Kishin, Asura, escaped from the bag made of his own skin he was sealed in for 1000 years... He's brought madness upon the world. Death City and all around are in ruins from the destruction. Asura defeated Lord Death (who's seriously injured in the Death Room but alive), his own allies, and now had to face 7 kids that managed to get into the barrier he established. The 7 kids are quite obvious. It's Black☆Star and his ninja weapon Tsubaki, Death The Kid and his weapon guns Liz and Patty, and Mak and her scythe weapon Soul. Together, the 3 did everything they could to try and land at least a single hit on Asura. Nothing worked.

Kid was able to break Asura's shell with his full power but Asura was still okay because all he broke was the shell. Kid went down right after breaking it too from exhaustion and so many injuries, Patty and Liz went unconscious with him.

Black☆Star took his chances, he did as well as Kid against Asura but it wasn't enough because he went down too with Tsubaki.

This left only Soul and Maka to give it a try to beat Asura. Maka used her full power on Soul's weapon form, Genie Hunter, the form that slices all evil, but it didn't slice Asura. That gave the wicked god a chance to throw Maka so hard at a boulder.

Soul: "MAKA!!"

Soul yelled her name before transforming back into a human to catch her. Soul backed up against the boulder, Maka was down like their friends… Soul took a heavy sigh, he's deeply injured and exhausted like everyone else from this but he still focuses on Maka.

Maka: "Soul..."

She said quietly, she opened her shaking eyes to Soul, and meeting his eyes. Soul looked down at Maka, he gently rubbed her head. Soul and Maka knew this could be the end for them, Star, Kid, Patty, Liz, and Tsubaki... but that doesn't scare Soul or Maka. Death isn't their fear, not when they're practically facing it.

Asura didn't make a further move on any of the fallen, he didn't make a further move on the 7 students trapped in his barrier to defeat him but clearly failing.
