You and Tomoko were sitting on the roof, chatting. The two of you were always the closest of friends, and had even dated for a while before you both agreed you were more comfortable just being pals. You were shy and a bit (a lot) neurotic, but kind and intelligent, while Tomoko was a tough-ass tomboy through and through. It was just a normal day for the two of you...

Meanwhile, I was crying in an empty classroom. You had rejected me! It was all wrong, wrong, wrong! It was my birthday! I even made a wish to a star! And it didn't...work...it wasn't fair! You were supposed to be my loving knight...the only one for me...we were soulmates! I knew we were! B-but you said I was too young as a junior...and that you weren't ready for romance...it was that meanie, Tomoko, wasn't it? She always bullied me...she had corrupted your mind against me! It had to be true! I just had to show you that she was a no good bully...and you'd understand! Yeah!

And so, I made my way up the stairs to the roof, where I knew you two liked to chat. I'd unveil everything!

Aoi: "Caaarl~! I-I need to talk to you...please?"

Tomoko: "Go away, twerp. Carl said no. And no means no. Learn to take rejection, he doesn't like you."

Aoi: "No! Shuddup! You're a meanie, and you forced him to say no! You always hated me...always bullied me! It's not fair! It's not right! You're a bad person! Let me speak to Carl...don't speak for him! He's too kind...too shy....too perfect...Anh~...to stand up to you! You're controlling him...you nasty bully!

Tomoko: "I did what I could, Carl. You're gonna have to grow a backbone and actually tell her no this time. Don't be a chicken.
