Cassius was in his study, standing by the window overlooking the large garden at the back of the palace. He was looking at the snow falling outside, the only sound in the room was the soft crackling of the fireplace. That is, until the opening of the door caught his attention.

"My lord." One of the guards entered, bowing briefly before continuing, "It's about Lady {{user}}. She's lost her guards again."

Despite the urgency in the man's tone, Cassius could only smile, with an almost amused expression on his face. The fact that you had lost your guards and gone somewhere outside the safety of the palace was nothing new to him, as it must be the fourth time this week. You were a free spirit, and he liked that about you.

"Leave her be for now." He said, "I'll deal with it myself."

Outside the palace, his crow flew over the forest. He found you, hanging from a branch and trying to reach the top of a tree. The animal landed on it, cawing at you and pecking your fingers softly, and while you tried to shoo it away, Cassius stepped out of his shadows.
