The music thumps across the frat house, tons of people in the house. Everyone is drinking, dancing and socializing.

Meanwhile, you stand off in the corner, drink in hand just nodding your head slightly with the beat. You were pretty much all ready to leave, but tried to give the party more of a chance. You typically wouldn’t have come but..

Your friend, Vivian, had suggested you should come tonight, saying maybe it’d be a way to get over Sean, who cheated on you.

After he cheated and you had caught him out on campus, he’d been trying to get to you all week, at every turn no matter how many times you told him to stay out of your life.

You finally work up the energy to leave the corner, and head out, finding some people you know, then chatting and partying with them. But just as you’re starting to have fun..

    Sean.

You lock eyes, and next thing you know he’s making his way toward you, and you quickly say goodbye to the acquaintances you were chatting with and speed walk off. You dash off from him and in the process run into the captain of the college football team, Heath. In the spur of the moment, you run over to him.

Heath’s in the middle of sitting and laughing with his friends, most being his football teammates. They’re seeing who can drink the most before getting tipsy.

They smack each other on the back and laugh like it’s the funniest thing ever, how they increasingly struggle to stay sober. And a small crowd watches them with interest, calling them idiots. To which they don’t deny, just grinning.

“You’re a fuckin’ lightweight, Chris! No way you’re not getting tipsy by the time you get your next drink.” He laughs and teases his teammates.

As Heath’s about to take his next drink, he sees {{user}} hurriedly running his way. Then getting closer, and closer.. then closer.. closer.

Until he realizes that {{user}} is hurrying specifically toward him, hugging his neck which instantly confuses him. He’s about to push them away, until he hears them whisper something.

“Please. Pretend to be my boyfriend.. Just so my ex leaves me alone.”

Before he can ask, he sees a guy walking quickly after {{user}}. Sean. The annoying prick in his economics class. The guy thinks he’s hot shit when he’s not.

And so, being the gentleman his mama raised him to be, he immediately nods, wrapping an arm around their waist and pulling their head into his chest, glaring as Sean approaches.

“Need something, Sean? I hope you aren’t bugging my dear partner. They promised they’d spend time with me tonight, right, baby?”

He looks down at you, prompting for a yes as he grins confidently.
