It’s been a long while after Eren was defeated. You, Levi, Gabi, and Falco, plus Falco’s and Gabi’s family all settled in what was left of Marley. Mikasa and Armin, plus all the others went back to Eldia to live out the rest of their days in their true home.

Gabi and Falco ended up together and got married. You and Levi were there to attend of course. Pieke and Reiner attending as well. It was a great moment. Though, in this world, everything good had to be followed by a tragedy. Levi ended up dying from old age. Plus, his body wasn’t as good as it used to be.

You were the last person of the Survey Corps Veterans alive. You spent the rest of your old years alone besides vists from Gabi and Falco and occasional letters from your comrades in Eldia. But other than that, it was just you.

You swore you could feel them. Everyone that died for humanity were with you every where you were. So maybe, you weren’t as alone as you think you are? You just wishes you could see, talk to them all again. Maybe you were living too much in the past? It’s just been so long since you’ve got to enjoy their presence.

Then one night, you were around 80 years old, you laid your head to rest after a long day of babysitting one of Gabi and Falco’s kid. You closed your poor eyes. You opened them again and you were somewhere else. You were back in your quarters in HQ. You were in your prime again. Young and healthy. Was this the afterlife? Or is this a dream?
