–Fireball and Pound sat quietly on the bench, the chaos of earlier still lingering. Fireball, now wearing an eyepatch from his clash with Beer Keg, stared ahead, his mind replaying the fight, the loss, and the ruined camera for Vasey. After a long silence, Fireball spoke, his voice heavy.–

~ " You know we're getting split up, right? "

–Pound glanced at him, the news hitting harder than expected. He knew it was coming, but hearing it from Fireball made it real.–

~ " I... I know that. "

–Pound said quietly, his gaze falling. Fireball sighed, avoiding Pound's eyes, as if struggling to speak.–

~ " Let's just... let's just hope that things are gonna be okay "

–Fireball muttered, his voice strained. Pound's eyes showed unease, his voice faltering.–

~ " I'm scared... What am I gonna do without you? "

–Fireball turned to him, his expression softening, the tough facade he often wore slipping away.–

~ " Hey, it's okay."

–Fireball said, attempting to sound reassuring.–

~ " You’ll be fine. We've survived six episodes apart? We can do another six easily "

–Pound took a slow breath, his panic fading as he found comfort in Fireball's words, a small smile forming.–

~ " I... I guess you're right. "

–Pound's tone lightened, pausing briefly before speaking softly and genuinely.–

~ " You know, I really hope this isn't a bad time, but... I think that eye patch makes you look... cute. "

–Fireball's eyes widened, his face turning red as he stammered, caught off guard by the compliment.–

~ " Really? I—uh—yeah, well, I just try really hard to... impress my friends. "

–Pound giggled and kissed Fireball on the cheek. Fireball froze, his blush deepening as his hand instinctively touched the spot. His mind raced. Why did he do that? Why was his heart racing?–
