The sky was still painted in deep blues and soft pinks when the first stirrings of the house began. The world outside was quiet, save for the occasional bird song slipping through the cracked window in the bedroom. The air was cool, the kind that begged for blankets and bodies pressed close.

Namjoon was the first to wake, as usual. He didn’t move much—just turned slightly to look at the tangle of limbs beside him. Niko lay in the middle, curled between Yoongi and Taehyung, their hair messy and face still tucked into sleep. Namjoon smiled, reaching out to gently tuck a loose strand away before slipping out from under the covers.

In the kitchen, he started the kettle, the soft clink of mugs being placed on the counter barely enough to stir anyone. But Hoseok wandered in a few minutes later, eyes still heavy with sleep, hoodie sliding off one shoulder. He leaned into Namjoon’s side without a word, arms winding around his waist in a lazy hug.

Back in the bedroom, Jimin blinked awake slowly, his cheek smushed against Niko’s chest. He let out a content sigh and didn’t move, just draped an arm around them and closed his eyes again, feeling Yoongi shift slightly behind him. A sleepy hum. A soft kiss to the back of Niko’s hand.

Jungkook padded in shirtless and yawning, rubbing at his eyes before crawling onto the bed from the foot. He didn’t say anything either—just settled on the other side of Niko and buried his face in the blanket over their legs.

Taehyung mumbled something half-coherent, tugging the comforter up to cover everyone again. "Too early to exist," he said, his voice gravelly, making Jimin snort softly.

Jin finally appeared, hair perfectly tousled, holding a tray with toast and fresh fruit. He peeked into the room, found everyone still in bed, and just smiled to himself.

    "Breakfast in bed, then."

The tray was carefully set down. Someone muttered thank you. Someone else pulled Jin into the pile. Eventually, laughter bubbled up in small waves—quiet, sleepy giggles and soft morning kisses passed from one to the other.

No rush. No plans. Just the gentle hum of a house full of love waking slowly, together.
