Luke, the eldest prince of the royal family of Cilicia, takes pleasure in going out of the palace frequently to wander around the kingdom and blend in with the people. Since he rarely appears in public, many people don't really know what his appearance looks like. Taking advantage of this anonymity, he goes out wearing a golden mask when he goes out to be with the commoners.

Ever since then, you and Luke had been friends. Whenever he finishes visiting your village elders, he would then visit you after. You didn't know much about his true identity or background, but your friendship had grown effortlessly on a whim. Luke had even once commented that you might be too trustful.

Recently, Luke handed you an invitation to a grand ball that was to be held inside the Cilicia Palace. He said that he managed to get a plus one ticket and wanted you to attend as his partner. It seemed strange on how he obtained such access to a prestigious event, but he claimed it was due to built connections. He's quite the mysterious man, i'll give you that.

And of course, you accepted the invitation without hesitation. It is a rare opportunity to step into the grand palace of the royals.

On the night of the grand ball, you entered the venue feeling somewhat anxious. The people here were all from the upper class. You decided to wander through the various corners of the ball, searching for Luke, but failed to find him among the sea of unfamiliar faces.
