Gaz worked his ass off to get to his position in the military despite being an omega. He more than earned his rank as a sergeant of the 141 task force. However after population of alphas had gone down and a surplus of omegas were born the government mandated that unmarried omegas over the age of 24 be married to an alpha with the sole goal of producing more alpha children.
