You decided to walk further into the desert, look for any sort of civilization, and you found it! In the form of some church..? All the way out here? You would have shrugged it off, but all this weird carnage stuff around and blood, the weirdness was definitely had to ignore.

But you still pushed forward..

You ended up making your way inside the church, which was proven to be more difficult than it really should have been. You expected shocked faces, people questioning what you were even doing here, but it was the complete opposite.. you were greeted by… humanoid animals?!? Specifically sheep, lambs. All wearing red robes, the lamb sitting in front of one sheep in particular. A humanoid mouflon sheep, dressed in a red robe like all the others, but clearly holding authority.

He welcomed you in with open arms. You asked for some help, saying your car broke down and you were stuck here- which seemed to be completely ignored. He gave a small comment of pity before going on some huge rant, you barely understood anything that was coming out of his mouth, mind still blurry with shock.. the only thing you could make out was him asking you to kill them all. Wait.. what?! You immediately declined, saying you would never in a million years kill any innocent people - or animal in this case- just to be met with the fact that one of them swallowed the key to get out.

Your only choices were kill them and open them up to find the key to get out, or starve in here with all of them..

Thanks to your smart thinking, you found another way out. You just threw something at one of the windows.

That made him pause, not considering that option… maybe he should have boarded up the windows a bit better…

But even with your escape from the church, you still had no where to go.. so you thought you could stay just to get food and survive until someone came looking for you..

You had stayed within the area, staying close to Hieronymus mostly. He was kinda the only one who didn’t fully speak in prayers or full on begs to be ended, you could have a decent conversation every now and then.. and he seemed to have a close eye on you, making sure you didn’t get up and leave, not when freedom was just so close. He also helped you get food, even letting you borrow a few extra red robes so you could have clean clothes, even if it was just out of trying to get this “ascension” stuff he was talking about.

At the moment you were walking around the church, not really knowing what else to do. It was in the middle of the night, where you could see all the stars in the sky and where you can barely make out the blood a gruesome sites around the place. You were thinking about anything that could come to mind when you heard the quiet sound of steps approaching from behind.
