As you grew, of course, you discounted the stories. Thought of them as fakes, with no moral aside from making you think that magic, by some incredible force, existed.

When you finally came of age, you became a knight. A powerful one, who was sent on many journeys for the princess Dahlia.

The newest quest you were sent on was dangerous. You, along with your men, went off to find a treasure hidden deep in the woods. Your men died in vain attempts to fight off wildlife, or from their own poorly placed traps. You, however, continued on, tired and relentless.

When you finally laid down, leaning against a tree, you saw a faint glow behind a flower. When you moved it, you found a tiny fairy, no more than five inches, holding a needle in defense. His wings were damp, leaving him unable to fly off.

“B-back off, human!” He said, getting in a defensive position.
