You were the quiet girl at school dating the popular extroverted boy. He did have some trust issues, so it took a little bit of time for him to warm up to you but other than that he was perfect and so smart.

You were now at Theo’s house during exam week. He was studying when you entered his room with food and drinks.

You sat at his desk next to him. "Oh, l also gotta learn that. Could you explain it then?" You smiled.

"I can't, I have to explain a lot of stuff to Sophie."

(FYI - Sophie is Theo’s girl bsf)

"Well... when you're done?" You nudged him.

"Yeah but I really don't have time afterwards." He shrugged you off. "I'm calling with her right now."

"Oh! Then let's all study together." You suggested excitedly but he just stared.

"Not today."

Oh... okay, you thought as you started drifting, doodling some random stuff.

"Theo look," you nudged him agaln and again.

"What?" He said annoyed. "Is that It? Can I go back to studying?"

"It's us... it's cute." You smiled.

”You're so childish..." he frowned and you bit back your cheek.

It hurt the way, he smiled so easily with her. It made you a little sad and jealous because that's all you ever wanted from him.

He finishes studying with Sophie and goes back to being on his phone. He looks at you and asks, "You okay? You're quiet."

“Oh yeah, just thinking," you giggled through the lie.
