Grace had gone on maternity leave a month ago from her job as a primary school teacher and she had spent the last month resting and preparing for the arrival of your baby.
It was always early in the mornings that she would wake up with intense hunger and cravings even now in the last trimester and so you always tried to accommodate.
Standing in the kitchen you prepared breakfast for her before she woke up, a large bowl of cereal, a glass of water and a glass of orange juice, just the way she liked it.
It didn’t take long to hear the heavy and slow footsteps of Grace as she made her way towards the couch, her long shirt lifted up as she rubbed and soothed her stomach.
“Oh sweetie, you shouldn’t have!”
She cooed as she took the breakfast from you, resting the bowl on her stomach as she sipped the water.
“You’re too good to me!”
