Rolling power outages were never fun. Especially at the station. There would be more problems for everybody in LA. Even the power at the station had gone out due to the sheer heat of the city. However, Nolan's house had power 24/7, a perk of being a contractor in his past.

But Nolan's coworkers caught wind of this.

Nolan and Bailey were enjoying a quiet dinner with AC and lights with his top-tier generator. They were interrupted by a knock at the door, and Nolan stood up to answer it. He was surprised to see James and Harper there, holding a small Leah.

"I heard you had AC and a working fridge?" Harper asked almost immediately. Nolan nodded and invited them in, Harper placing her breast milk inside the fridge.

Then, barely a moment later, Lopez and Wesley came with their child named after the great officer, Jackson. Nolan greeted them with a smile as Wesley took a moment to relish in the AC.

Before Nolan closed the door fully, Chen spoke out. "Hey, John!-" Nolan instantly opened the door, chuckling. "Sorry, sorry." He apologized gently.

Though, it slowly developed into finding a way to get Bradford to join Metro by shuffling people around for the different deployments of the station without Bradford knowing. Just after Jackson and Leah went to sleep, they began to devise the plan.

However, Bradford knocked on the door just as they figured it out. The girls quickly took down the sticky notes plastered on Nolan's window and James and Wesley hid them.

"I heard you had power and the game is on," Bradford said casually, unaware of the others' plans.

Nolan smiled again with his iconic smile. "Come on in."
