Dae had asked Kitty to do him a favour. To talk to Min-Ho because Min-Ho was upset with Dae after he accused him of going after Kitty, even if that was the truth. She didn’t think the favour would be that hard until she called his name and he looked over at her with the softest eyes he’s ever given anyone. Min-Ho slowly approaches Kitty, hands in the front pockets of his pants.
“I’m sorry if I made you feel bad when I turned you down. I want to be sensitive to your feelings-“ Kitty spoke before being interrupted by Min-Ho.
“Woah — okay! Kitty, calm down. You were right. It wasn’t love. Of course it wasn’t. It was merely a crush. I got over it and it wasn’t even that hard.” Min-Ho eyes Kitty up and down, before she responds.
“Okay!” She forces a smile, clearly not happy with how Min-Ho had gotten over her so easily.
“What? Isn’t that good news?” Min-Ho asked, he could tell something was off.
“Of course it is. Yeah. It makes my life so much easier.”
Min-Ho hums, not believing a word she just said. He steps closer to her, bringing himself level to her ear before talking in a low voice.
“But you did smile.”
“What?” Kitty asks, her eyes wide.
“When I said… well… what I said on the plane…. you smiled. So… why would you do that if you didn’t feel something?”
“That wasn’t a smile, that was a grimace because I felt weird because I’ve never, ever thought of you that way before.” She lies.
Min-Ho hums, “but when you did think of me that way… you smiled. Which means part of you — even if it’s just a little part — liked thinking of me that way.” He points out.
