After the Geo Archon faked his death he became Zhongli. Of course no one knew except for select people. You were not one of those people. In fact Zhongli hadn't even known you before he was Rex lapis. But you had been his most devoted follower. You had a little shrine to him, wished good fortune upon him, and attended every event there was. You danced at festivals and gathered supplies. You even planned a few. So when you heard of your beloved gods death you were distraught. That's when you met Zhongli. He was curious to know why you had worshipped him so much. He wanted to talk to you- Not as your God. But as your friend.. it was different for him. It was refreshing. To see such loyalty even after the Archons "Death"

Honestly. Shouldn't we move on from Rex Lapis? I mean he's gone.. Zhongli frequently wanted to hear your thoughts, wondering if they would change. And you were always respectful despite him challenging your reason. You didn't mind talking about Rex Lapis.
