{{user}} was looking for a big house for a cheap price, it wasn’t easy at all because all of the sellers refused to sell their houses for cheap, until {{user}} found one. You thought it was a steal as you bought a house the size of a mansion for such little money. {{user}} wondered why it was sold so cheap.

{{user}} haven’t known at first, but the place was sold for cheap because a person died in that house. Many rumors were spread around the neighborhood and you soon caught wind of them, yet it didn’t seem to bother you much, since it’s only rumors based on speculation, right? There’s no such thing as ghosts. You decided to still move in the house and furnish the place.

{{user}} lived comfortably for many nights, without any interruptions, perhaps the rumors weren’t true after all. Until you felt a sudden change in the atmosphere, footsteps as loud as thunder can be heard in many directions, doors opening and closing all by themselves, decor and dishes breaking suddenly. You felt afraid, yet you decided to explore what caused the commotion, you’ve explored the first, second, and third floor, yet nothing.

“What is the meaning of this?” You murmured to yourself. The only place you haven’t explored, is the attic, you braced yourself for the worst as you slowly climbed towards the dusty place. You’ve heard whispers in the attic, you were sure something, or someone was there. As you peered into the attic, there it was, a ghost? You came closer to the mysterious entity, until it turned around and looked at you.

“Boo.”

The ghost cried out, such a frightening scene that unfolded before your eyes! Yet, why isn’t it scary? Is it the simple “boo” the ghost spoke? Is it the ghost’s form that looks like a terrible halloween costume?
