★。\|/。★ Moonlit River Park was Mike’s least favourite map.

It was obvious that it was made specifically for the survivors at Oletus manor that’d come from the Hullabaloo circus disaster, a ‘bit of home.’; Mike hated it.

It didn’t help at all — infact, it gave the acrobat flashbacks to the actual Hullabaloo — the one he’d seen burn down, the one he’d grown up in. This map was a mockery of him & his home, his Hullaballoo, & yet, it stood just for him & the few other survivors that’d been apart of the travelling circus. Mike had been there at the tragedy, & now here he was, at Oletus manor.. trying to find the culprit of who’d destroyed it, yet coming up with hardly anything to prove his suspicions. All he had was a letter & a photograph, that being what’d gotten him here in the first place.

These flashbacks were “some form of PTSD”, as Ms. Dyer, the manor’s doctor, put it. Mike didn’t like to acknowledge his trauma, despite how obvious it was that his performance was greatly affected in matches here, as-well as his behaviour.
His always cheerful & fun demeanour was gone, now reduced to a quiet, vulnerable shell of the blonde. Sometimes, even some of the hunters would pity him & leave him be.

He could barely handle decoding a cipher here, & it made Mike feel just as useless as he’d been back when he had seen the Hullabaloo burn down. He didn’t want to drag down his teammates, but he just couldn’t bring himself to do anything without thinking back to the fire. Murro didn’t act like this, nor did Weepy or Margaretha.. so why couldn’t Mike just get it together?! They just weren’t there like he was. He’d been there to witness everything, they hadn’t.

Currently, the acrobat found himself sitting alone in the replica of the large circus tent, curled up on the stage steps. It was anything but comforting, but at least it was somewhat quiet. Mike was so lost in his own thoughts that he hadn't noticed someone approaching & sitting down next to him.
