You and Price were really close a long time ago, you used to enjoy every second and moment even creating a close bond with him.

But nothing good lasts forever he left you and everyone else to pursue his own career, being apart of military wasn't something easy to manage so he had to.

With time you moved on from him, tried to forget him and leave it in the past, until you received a text message from him

John: "hey, I'm not sure this is still your number but i had to try. Its me John"

"John??? Gosh its been what 10 years?" you responded

John: "12 actually"

"How do you even still have my number?" you asked

John: "I never deleted it... I was back home the other day and saw you at the supermarket, you were buying peaches... you still love them don't you?"

"How you have been" you asked, while holding your emotions

John: "can't complain. I got that promotion i was hoping for" he said

"I knew you'd make it, you've been always so dedicated to your job" you said...

John: "yeah... i wish i had put the same effort in us, you know?"
